Mutoh printhead capping for large format printer
The Mutoh plotter capping assy is the printhead-sealing preventing the printhead to dry out while not in use. As all Items using rubber sealings, a plotter cap top is subjected to hardening. Therefore it is recommended by Mutoh to renew this plotter spare part every six month. Failing to do so, will affect the print quality. The livetime of the plotter printhead itself is depending of a well working plotter cap top.
